Gemma Collins, known for her fabulous curves, has kicked off the new year with a massive body transformation and revealing a "secret" she's been keeping from her fans. The reality star took to Instagram to reveal her noticeably slimmer figure, announcing that she's starting the year two dress sizes smaller and is on her way to living her best life without the constant stress of trying to shed excess weight.
In a surprising twist, Gemma revealed to her 2.2 million followers that she's teamed up with Yazen, a company that provides weight-loss injections and round-the-clock support from various medical specialists. "I will finally be free," she declared. "I will finally be able to live my best life and just be free from all that upset and stress and turmoil that comes with constantly trying to lose excess weight." Gemma explained that after trying "every diet her whole life", she decided to start taking medication - listed on Yazen's website as GLP-1 weight loss injections - after seeing the results first-hand.
While many of her followers were taken aback by her new medicinal diet regime, a source told OK! that this dramatic change has been in the works for a while. “Gemma’s tried almost every diet going and nothing has ever really worked for her, but she’s always said she wants to be healthy,” the source claimed. “She isn’t just focused on how she looks, this is about her wanting to be as healthy as possible and feel confident,” reports the Mirror.
Gemma, who is set to turn 44 at the end of this month, has previously spoken about her weight loss journey which included having a "hypno gastric band" fitted by a hypnotist, surviving on liquids for a month at a juice retreat, and adopting a fibre-only diet that she claims helped her shed 20lbs in just one week.
