Caitlyn Jenner is being widely criticised after saying transgender girls shouldn’t compete in female sports. The former Olympian, who came out as a transgender woman in 2015, shocked many with her views.

But it isn't the first time she has made the claim. Widely seen as the most high-profile trans person in America, Caitlyn has said it's "a question of fairness" that means transgender girls shouldn't be allowed to compete in female sports.
