Gypsy said that she spent a large part of her life questioning her sexuality and while she was “attracted to girls” during her teenage years, she didn’t get a chance to act on those feelings until she was in prison. “I got to experiment with that in prison,” Gypsy revealed. “I think I’ve kissed more girls than I have guys.” Since there “is a rule against masturbation in prison,” Gypsy said that she didn’t have much of a sex drive until she was released in December 2023. “So, I’m discovering things about myself,” Gypsy said about leaning into her sensuality. “I’m a freak!” she added with a laugh.
Also in the episode, Gypsy credited her now-estranged husband Ryan Anderson for helping her feel comfortable in her own skin, especially during sex. “I’m self-conscious because I have scars all over my body,” Gypsy shared. “And so I’m like, ‘Am I going to be what he wants me to be?
Am I attractive to him?’” She added, “And he’s like, ‘It’s OK.’” In a recent interview, Gypsy explained why she now regrets getting married in prison.
