Strictly Come Dancing's Giovanni Pernice is sparking whispers of a dazzling comeback after sharing a mysterious message on his Instagram story.
The handsome Italian hoofer posted an old throwback clip of himself from the show's Halloween Week, accompanied by a fan's caption proclaiming him as "Forever the King of Halloween". Giovanni, who faced turbulence off-stage with bullying allegations leading to a BBC scrutiny earlier this year, was held accountable for six out of the 16 complaints filed against him, though he managed to dance clear of 10.
On social media, the Sicilian star radiated excitement, announcing: "I'm back baby! " showing that he's not letting past controversies break his stride. Beyond the glitterball world, Giovanni has opened up about a thrilling theatre tour with his good friend and Strictly legend, Anton Du Beke, named The Last Dance, scheduled to kick off in January and waltzing all the way through May.
While he’s currently rocking the dance floor on Italy's version of Strictly, racking up a set of perfect 10s with his current partner, Giovanni is also flexing his stealth skills on Channel 4's Celebrity Hunted. Rumour has it that even though his appearance was shot pre-scandal in 2022, we might soon catch him trying to slip away from top-notch trackers on the thrill-filled chase show.
According to reports, Channel 4 executives initially considered not airing footage of Giovanni from Celebrity Hunted, but it has now been confirmed that the show will premiere in January. A source revealed to The Sun: "It was absolutely right to shelve Hunted while the BBC took the time to unravel the claims against Giovanni.
