Trump was born and raised in Queens, a borough of New York City, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan. The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He bought the Miss Universe brand of beauty pageants in 1996, and sold it in 2015. He produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television series, from 2003 to 2015. As of 2020, Forbes estimated his net worth to be $2.1 billion.[

Fast forward to 2022, and Melissa has taken a small, underfunded organization and transformed it into the largest provider of mental health services for HIV+ people in the South.

Melissa has served  25 years as executive director of Legacy Cares , providing services to those living with HIV. Legacy Cares has been an innovative force in our community that provides education and outreach to some of our most vulnerable communities.

Three days after one of his alleged victims died, a California suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing at a Long Beach gay bar has been arrested.Local police arrested Michael Smalls, 56, on Tuesday, according to a news release.Smalls has been accused of stabbing Christopher Finley, 28, to death at the Mineshaft bar on Friday night.Finley was killed after he and another man had an argument with Smalls outside of the bar, according to police. The altercation got physical, police said, before Smalls pulled out a knife and stabbed the two in the upper body.Finley died about eight hours after medical personnel took him to the hospital despite initial police reports that his injuries were not life-threatening.A verified GoFundMe revealed that the other victim was Finley's partner, identified as Jacob Touchstone.Authorities said the couple was involved in an altercation with a taser-wielding man outside the bar before the altercation with Smalls.
