X Factor star Lloyd Daniels has spoken out about his time on the show – telling fans he felt pressured to keep his sexuality a secret.The singer, who is now openly gay, says when he was on Simon Cowell's hit series in the final 12 it was made clear to him being out could hinder his career.
Lloyd was 16 in 2009 when he appeared on the show with Cheryl as his mentor. Speaking during an Instagram live session with charity Spirit of Stonewall, Lloyd said: "I met someone on the show and we really clicked."I'd never had that emotion towards guys.
