They’re expecting twins!An Instagram reel showed the men holding up an ultrasound scan. A video showed them pinning stockings to a window frame: first two large stockings followed by not one but two smaller ones.

They stated this would be their “last Christmas pre-twins.” That they’re due to become dads will not be a shock to many of their followers. The men have previously discussed exploring surrogacy via YouTube videos.

However, the news they’re expecting twins took many by surprise. “Shut upppp!!! This is going to be sooo hard and SO CUTE!” said Tony-nominated fellow performer Taylor Louderman. On Broadway, Clay Rice-Thomson has appeared in such shows as Matilda, Moulin Rouge and Newsies.

He’s also a digital content creator. Chris Rice-Thomson has appeared in Pretty Woman and The Book of Mormon on Broadway, as well as several touring productions. His ‘Tappy’ YouTube videos have also racked up millions of views.The couple went viral in 2016 when Chris proposed to Clay via a flashmob.

They’d been dating for 6.5 years by this stage.The men got married in 2019 in Palm Springs. Big congratulations on your surrogacy news, guys. Here’s hoping 2025 sees you continue to live your dreams and best lives.
