Gemma Clare Collins (born 31 January 1981) is an English media personality and businesswoman. In 2011, she began appearing on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex. Following a brief appearance on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (2014), Collins has appeared in various television programmes including Celebrity Big Brother (2016), Celebs Go Dating (2018), and Dancing on Ice (2019). In 2019, she began starring in her own reality series and hosting a podcast on BBC Sounds.
Gemma Collins pens emotional thank you to fans after her lockdown miscarriage
Gemma Collins has taken to social media to thank fans for their flood of support following her Loose Women appearance. Chatting to the panel via a video call, Gemma told that she had suffered another miscarriage during the lockdown period.
She also told of her diagnosis of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome - a condition that affect how a woman's ovaries work. "It was really difficult for me in isolation," she recalled, "with my condition PCOS, it's not easy to fall pregnant, and I suffered a miscarriage which was really sad during the lockdown period." This comes shortly after she revealed she had had a miscarriage in 2012.
