Gemma Clare Collins (born 31 January 1981) is an English media personality and businesswoman. In 2011, she began appearing on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex. Following a brief appearance on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (2014), Collins has appeared in various television programmes including Celebrity Big Brother (2016), Celebs Go Dating (2018), and Dancing on Ice (2019). In 2019, she began starring in her own reality series and hosting a podcast on BBC Sounds.
Gemma Collins reveals she had a miscarriage in lockdown on Loose Women
GEMMA Collins has said she suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage in lockdown. The 39-year-old Towie star explained she was "very sad", but added that it gave her hope she would have children one day.
Gemma opened up about her sad news on Loose Women today saying losing a baby with "someone I loved very much was very heartbreaking".
She told the panel: "I did suffer a miscarriage, which was really sad, during the lockdown period." The star, who has polycystic ovary syndrome, said she didn't realise, thinking she was having a very heavy period that lasted for ten days.
