Gemma Clare Collins (born 31 January 1981) is an English media personality and businesswoman. In 2011, she began appearing on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex. Following a brief appearance on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (2014), Collins has appeared in various television programmes including Celebrity Big Brother (2016), Celebs Go Dating (2018), and Dancing on Ice (2019). In 2019, she began starring in her own reality series and hosting a podcast on BBC Sounds.

Gemma Collins has rallied her fans into petitioning for her to replace Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show - which has been at the centre of controversy in recent months.
Ellen, 62, was slammed by accusations from staff that she has enabled a "toxic culture" behind the scenes. The accusations have forced WarnerMedia to launch an investigation at The Ellen Show, as rumours continue to swirl about whether or not she will be replaced when the show returns next month.
And it seems as though The GC is keen to be the one to do the deed. In a now-deleted post, Gemma shared a petition on Instagram for fans to sign, which calls for Gem to take over from Ellen on the show.
