Here’s when you can expect the 11th season of American Horror Story

We finally have an update on the new season of American Horror Story. At the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour on Tuesday (2 August), FX chairman John Landgraf confirmed that the 11th season will air this year, and it’s slated to premiere sometime this fall.

The title, theme and cast will be announced in the forthcoming weeks. American Horror Story’s latest season, Double Feature, saw the return of veterans such as Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, Finn Wittrock, Frances Conroy, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Adina Porter and Angelica Ross.

Split into two instalments, Red Tide and Death Valley, the season was met with mixed-to-negative reviews from critics. In an interview with Andy Cohen on What Happens Live, Paulson revealed that she might not return for season 11.

After being asked what her next project with her long-time collaborator Ryan Murphy could be, the American Horror Story mainstay said: “I don’t know.
