New LGBT+ bursary offers artists the chance to perform at four Pride events later this year

Pride Stages Bursary, led by LGBT Foundation and supported by Arts Council England, will offer a cash grant of £1,000, rehearsal space and tailored development support to help an individual create a new performance celebrating LGBT+ culture.

The artist will also be given the chance to perform their work at Bury Pride, Pride in Trafford, The Pink Picnic in Salford and Oldham Pride - should the events continue to go ahead later this year.

The bursary is also supported by the Greater Manchester LGBTQ+ Arts and Culture Network alongside members The Met, Waterside Arts, The Lowry and Oldham Coliseum Theatre. ‘Pride Stages is a fantastic opportunity for an LGBTQ+ artist/company to share their creativity and talent with communities across Greater.
