Ginni Thomas’ week is off to a terrible start and it’s only Monday
More bad news for the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.Last week, text messages obtained by Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward and CBS News correspondent Robert Costa showed Ginni Thomas repeatedly pestered ex-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows about overturning Biden’s victory in the weeks after the 2020 presidential election.Related: Ginni Thomas is so screwed and she has her own psychotic text messages to blameNow, it’s looking increasingly likely that she is going to be called to testify before the January 6 committee. CNN reports:Following the revelation of Virginia “Ginni” Thomas’ text messages with then-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, most members of the House select committee investigating January 6 — including chair Bennie Thompson and vice chair Liz Cheney — believe the panel should interview her, multiple sources familiar with the investigation told CNN.Yesterday, Adam Kinzinger, one of two Republican members on the committee, vowed to “get to the bottom” of what happened in the lead up to the insurrection.“The question for the committee in this or any exchange is ‘was there a conspiracy, or how close did we get to overturning the election?'” he told CBS’s Face the Nation.
