Graham Robson is a distinguished motoring historian whose working life has always been connected with fine cars and advanced engines. After starting his career at Jaguar, then running the ‘works’ motorsport team at Triumph, he developed a passion for motoring heritage and for classic cars. He has been an independent writer, historian and motoring consultant for many years, and has written more than 130 books.

Vocalist JP Christian is known as the Human Jukebox whose cabaret sets are like a potted history of popular music. Graham Robson caught up with him to find out what he’s been up to while in lockdown and why music is his ‘pick me up’. Hey JP, tell us a bit about yourself… I’m originally from Bath and started singing around 25 years ago, first in a couple of bands and then solo; it was then I was happily lured into the Bath, Bristol and Cardiff LGBTQ+ cabaret scene by a couple of drag queens!
