It's no wonder A Place in the Sun has proved hugely popular with viewers over the years. House hunters are shown around beautiful villas and apartments in exotic locations with sunny climates, offering a perfect taste of paradise on our TV screens.

But, according to one of the show's hosts, there's lots that happens behind-the-scenes that the rest of us really don't have a clue about - and you'll be shocked!

Late last year, Jean Johansson, who has been a presenter on A Place in the Sun since 2018, exclusively invited OK! into her home in Ayrshire and spilled the beans on the property series - including one very strict TV rule. The star laughed: "“If there was a thing called ‘smell-o-vision’, we would not be on air.

Because we want each show to look like everything happens in one day, we all wear the same outfits for six days straight. So the big secret of the show is that we stink.” Another thing viewers don’t see is just how close Jean gets to those taking part in the show with the crew and househunters often spending a week filming one episode. “We grow close during those five or six days and we love a party.

If we can't even stand up for civil discourse, then we're just going to keep losing elections and a lot of people in America are going to get hurt."Moulton said that the Democrat's focus on identity had a trickle-down effect on other policy areas, damaging their reputation on issues like the economy."We begin by doing more listening and less preaching listening to American voters because you know, I raised the trans issue.
