Lady Gaga supports the trans community with a powerful performance of Born This Way

Pop icon Lady Gaga delivered a heartfelt message to the trans community during her recent Las Vegas performance.

Since her electric debut in 2008, the 37-year-old talent has ruled the music sphere with her unforgettable hit singles, showstopping performances and unapologetic honesty.

In addition to her incredible artistry, Gaga has earned universal acclaim from fans and critics for her unwavering support for the LGBTQ+ community.

Over the years, the ‘Poker Face’ singer – who is also openly bisexual – has consistently used her platform to condemn anti-LGBTQ+ legislation and rhetoric.

Back in 2019, the beloved talent slammed former Vice President Mike Pence for supporting his wife’s decision to work at an anti-LGBTQ school.

“To Mike Pence, who thinks it’s acceptable that his wife work at a school that bans LGBTQ? You are wrong,” she told the crowd. “You say we should not discriminate against Christianity? You are the worst representation of what it means to be a Christian.”

In addition to her vocal support, Gaga has also provided resources for LGBTQ+ youth through her long-running Born This Way Foundation.

On 31 August, the ‘Rain On Me’ singer continued to showcase her fierce advocacy – specifically regarding trans rights – during the opening night of her Las Vegas residency, “Lady Gaga Enigma + Jazz Piano concert.”

In a video captured by a fan, Gaga is shown sitting at a piano in a luxurious pink gown while telling the crowd that she has “something to say about trans rights” in the US.

After receiving cheers from the crowd, the ‘Money Honey’ singer begins to play the opening chords of her iconic LGBTQ+ anthem ‘Born This Way.’

“You got something to say you gotta speak up, right?” she is heard saying.

Unlike her past performances of the hit track, which is usually backed by sickening choreography, Gaga stripped the song and sang the meaningful lyrics while earnestly looking into the crowd.

Towards the end of her heartfelt performance, the beloved talent
