HBO debuts socially-distanced comedy Coastal Elites. (above). This weekend marks the half-year milestone of the pandemic shutdown, so it’s apt we would be treated to one of the first feature-length movies written, shot, edited and released in the time of COVID (though we all hoped it would be a nostalgia piece by now).
What makes it highly anticipated is that it was written by Paul Rudnick (Jeffrey, In & Out), directed by Jay Roach (Austin Powers, Bombshell) and stars a cast including Bette Midler, Sarah Paulson and Dan Levy.
