Emmy-winning comedian Hannah Gadsby will produce and host a live stand-up special for Netflix titled Body of Work. The Australian comedian will record the special during the Sydney leg of her world tour.
The upcoming special will take place at the Sydney Opera House, the same location that her previous Netflix show, Nanette, was filmed.
The 44-year-old took to Twitter to announce the news. “I am chuffed to announce that Netflix has agreed to work with me on a stand up special that will showcase queer gender voices from around the world,” she said. “I won’t lie… this made my decision to do a third solo special with them a little easier.” “So, on that note, I am pretty excited to be filming my new ‘feel-good show’, Body of Work, at the Sydney Opera House…yep…I’m back at the scene of the Nanette ‘crime’.
The taping is happening tomorrow night…and Thursday…it’s a Double banger!” The comic confirmed she has no idea when the show will be released: “The shebang of it all will premiere on Netflix….at some point… in the future, I suppose.
