GEMMA Collins was almost rushed to hospital with a mystery illness earlier this month. The 41-year-old former TOWIE star became “really unwell” with an unknown health condition, and nearly had to get fiancé Rami Hawash to rush her to receive urgent medical care as a result.
Gemma explained that her body “was having none of it” and that she went on a drip after becoming ill, describing it as “really, really bad.” Gemma was previously diagnosed with an under-active thyroid, and said she was “very unwell” while having to film in Wales lately.
She told OK! Magazine: “I have been so ill I cannot tell you. My workload has been a lot, but I've had a virus. I've been really, really, really unwell.
I literally had to film up in Wales and Iwas very unwell. “I had to call the doctor out and the doctor said to me, 'Look I'm going to give you medicine but I actually think this is a virus and it's not going to work.’” Read More on Gemma Collins'VILLA QUEEN' Gemma Collins strikes up an unlikely friendship with Love Island bombshellPOORLY GC Gemma Collins reveals she's back on a DRIP after working too hard in the heat Gemma admitted that she wanted to keep going but her body was “having none of it,” but shared that Rami was a great help. “This time my body was having none of it.
