After years of teasing, today it’s finally official: Dragulais expanding the franchise. Dragula: Titans are on the way and coming to Shudder sooner than you might have hoped.As everyone knows, October is the spookiest month of the year making it the perfect time to crown a new Dragula star.
While the cast is yet to be revealed, Titans will bring back drag icons from the show’s previous seasons to compete in the franchise’s grandest championship of drag artistry and shocking physical challenges.
This time, the queens will be vying for a $100,000 grand prize, the headlining spot on the upcoming Dragula world tour, and the first-ever (and oh-so coveted) Dragula: Titans crown and title.While the show will replicate some of the original’s formula, the Boulets promise there are plenty of surprises ahead including “a haunted mansion full of shocking twists and turns that take place in a brand-new ‘underworld’ set that was built just for the season,” according to the press release.“We wanted the show to feel familiar to fans, but we also wanted the set and format to feel elevated from a regular season to match the incredible talent of the artists we’ve brought together,” said the Boulet Brothers.
