Gemma Clare Collins (born 31 January 1981) is an English media personality and businesswoman. In 2011, she began appearing on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex. Following a brief appearance on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (2014), Collins has appeared in various television programmes including Celebrity Big Brother (2016), Celebs Go Dating (2018), and Dancing on Ice (2019). In 2019, she began starring in her own reality series and hosting a podcast on BBC Sounds.

Gemma Collins has admitted she didn't even know there were such a thing as bills before she left home aged 30. She told fans: "I remember calling my father and saying, 'What the hell is a water bill?' Then the council tax, then the Sky, then the TV licence.
I had the biggest shock of my life." Gemma, 39, was speaking on her BBC podcast when she made the shocking revelation. She added: "I didn't move out till I was 30 years old.
I had it far too good at home." The GC has used her platform in the past to speak about several wacky things and enjoys sharing her views on certain conspiracy theories, including her belief that lizard people are real.
