Totally foolproof, dude.I held steady to this belief for many weeks. Barrages of panicked text messages and tweets disrupted the quiet equilibrium of my regular group threads and social media homepages, and I had to bite my tongue (thumbs actually) so I didn't drop eye roll emojis in response.

But sometimes I slipped, coming across as anti-intellectual and, most dramatically, dismissing as overreactive those who said COVID-19 was giving them anxiety or making them depressed; because if anyone knew depression, it was me.
