He bought the Miss Universe brand of beauty pageants in 1996, and sold it in 2015. He produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television series, from 2003 to 2015. As of 2020, Forbes estimated his net worth to be $2.1 billion.[

Mississippi votes to ban trans athletes from school sports

Lower lawmakers in Mississippi, US have voted to ban trans athletes from participating in school sporting categories which align with their gender identity, with the bill being passed in a 34-9 vote.

According to CNN, Senate Bill 2536 was passed with ‘very little’ discussion, and will now head to the state House of Representatives for further consideration before being sent to the Mississippi governor.
