Equality California, the statewide LGBTQ rights group, will hold its virtual Evening for Equality Wednesday, April 28, beginning at 6 p.m.

Pacific Time. Headlining the show will be Grammy Award-winning R&B, hip-hop, and soul singer-songwriter Estelle. Other entertainers include Peppermint, Justin Tranter, and Jake Wesley Rogers.

Congresswoman Barbara Lee (D-Oakland) will be a special guest. Lee, vice chair and founding member of Congress' LGBTQ+ Equality Caucus, is a longtime ally of the queer community and has authored many bills around HIV/AIDS and other progressive issues.

Also appearing at the fundraiser will be lesbian state Senator Susan Talamantes Eggman (D-Stockton), vice chair of the California Legislative LGBTQ Caucus, and Honey
