He bought the Miss Universe brand of beauty pageants in 1996, and sold it in 2015. He produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television series, from 2003 to 2015. As of 2020, Forbes estimated his net worth to be $2.1 billion.[

As pressure grows for the Catholic Church to recognise same-sex relationships, the Vatican has lashed out at the LGBTQ community in a bid to assert its outdated, discriminatory and dehumanising dogma.

In a statement issued on Monday by the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, with the approval of Pope Francis, the church said that it cannot ever bless same-sex unions.
