@DailyMirror, @ITV, @PrideOfBritain awards.“I cannot stop crying, these stories are so inspiring.Thank you for your strength “ #PrideofBritainAwards #itv #DailyMirror #inspiration #awards.” (sic)The annual Pride Of Britain Awards was hosted this year by Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo. It sees ordinary people with extraordinary stories recognised for their work. The ceremony took place earlier this week in front of a star-studded audience who all wish to honour this year’s inspirational winners.An extensive list of the various winners of the show can be seen online as posted by Express.co.uk. They include David Groves and Alex Harvey for “outstanding bravery”. It also includes Jill Allen who lost her eyesight 50 years ago on her wedding day and has campaigned for the blind ever since; she won the Lifetime Achievement award. Following Carol's presentation tonight, fans took to Twitter to compliment her on her appearance. She was dressed in a floor-length, dark silver gown, which was complete with jewels at the waist to accentuate her hourglass figure. Carol took to Instagram yesterday to show off her outfit in a short clip.The star captioned the stunning clip: “In the spirit of hand me downs and sustainability... “@ashleybanjogram and I are wearing beautiful outfits for this year's Pride of Britain which we’ve worn previously.“Ash is wearing the suit he wore as best man at @jordbanjo wedding earlier this year and I’m wearing a stunning gown which I wore on stage for POB in 2018.” Tom Bird tweeted: “I’ve got to say Carol Vorderman looks fantastic!!”While ITV viewer @clarecrichton feared a wardrobe malfunction could be on the way: “Carol is gonna burst out of that dress!”“Wow, doesn't @carolvorders look amazing!”
