Bad Queers Podcast is a weekly program hosted by Shana Sumers and Kris Chesson for anyone who feels like they came out of the closet and then got placed in a box. It’s time to put the Grindr-obsessed, U-haul theory to bed and connect over being “bad queers.”Join Shana and Kris as they discuss everything from owning your identity to breaking down stereotypes to their unpopular queer opinions about everything from pop culture to politics. But he’s not the only one: lesbian firefighter Henrietta “Hen” Wilson (Aisha Hinds) has been a cornerstone of the series since the beginning, showing us how she balances her stressful job with being a wife (to Tracie Thoms’ Karen) and mother.But, in many ways, 9-1-1 was actually following the lead of its Texas-set spin-off in terms of groundbreaking queer representation.
