The Bachelor star Colton Underwood has bravely told fans he is gay. In an emotional interview, the reality star wore his heart on his sleeve as he opened up about his sexuality on Good Morning America on Wednesday.

Colton had to courage to share he has run from his true self for a "long time" but now he's ready to follow his heart. "I've ran from myself for a long time.

I've hated myself for a long time," he told the TV hosts. "And I'm gay. And I came to terms with that earlier this year and have been processing it.

And the next step in all of this was sort of letting people know." This year has been a deep reflection for many people amid the coronavirus pandemic.
