The Matrix Revolutions seemingly brought the franchise to a close. But as it turns out, Lana Wachowski wasn’t done with Neo and the gang just yet.

Returning for The Matrix Resurrections, this time she takes the mantle of sole writer and director (she directed the previous films alongside her sister Lilly).

Now the long-anticipated trailer for the new Matrix has finally landed, and it’s as trippy and intriguing as fans of the franchise could have hoped for.The trailer opens with Keanu Reeves’s Neo asking if he’s crazy, and his therapist, played by Neil Patrick Harris, assures him that’s not a word they use in their sessions.
