Kelsea Ballerini Sets Record Straight on Lip-Syncing Allegations at People's Choice Country Awards 2023

Kelsea Ballerini is setting the record straight amid rumors that she lip-synced her performance of “Mountain With a View” at the 2023 People’s Choice Country Awards.

The 30-year-old country crooner sounded so great at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry, that some people online didn’t believe her vocals were live.

Following the show and the rumors, Kelsea stood up for herself on Instagram.

“I just wanna say, if I was lip-syncing, I would’ve sounded a lot better,” she joked on her Instagram Story. “One of the cameras was off. Thank you and goodnight.”

In another Story, Kelsea shared a photo of herself posing backstage, making a cute side-eye face. She wrote, “Me singing live watching other people thinking otherwise.”

On the red carpet at the event, the singer had a very sweet reaction to the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce dating rumors.
