Omar Apollo says his ‘Queer’ scene was almost even more explicit—and he was all in

Queer since its very first announcement—and that was before we even knew that Omar Apollo would be making one hell of a cameo!Yes, the dreamy alt-pop singer-songwriter has his official acting debut in the filmmaker’s adaptation of the Williams S. Burroughs’ novel, playing a mysterious character who technically goes unnamed but still makes quite an impression—both on protagonist William Lee (Daniel Craig) and the audience.In addition to leaving it all on the screen, Apollo also revealed last week that he recorded a brand-new Spanish-language track for Queer called “Te Maldigo,” which he wrote alongside the film’s composers Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross.
