In an interview with Good Morning Britain today, Christopher Biggins slammed DC Comics’ decision to have Superman’s son Jon Kent to come out as bisexual.
During the interview, Biggins suggested to Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid that he wanted to see "new characters" have queer stories, despite the fact that Jon Kent is a relatively new character to the franchise. There seemed to be some confusion over whether Biggins was referring to Superman’s son or Clark Kent himself, as he appeared to be outraged at the comic book writers for changing a character that “we all know and love”.
The famous actor began by praising John Whaite and Johannes Radebe's same-sex partnership on Strictly Come Dancing, calling them “fantastic” and “wonderful”.
