Brighton & Hove City Council (BHCC) is marking National Adoption Week with a call for people from as wide a range of backgrounds as possible to consider becoming adoptive parents.BHCC is now part of the Adoption South East regional adoption agency, which is a group of councils working together to give vulnerable children the best possible chance of finding families that are a great match for them.Adoption South East is particularly looking for adults who can offer a safe, loving and supportive home to:– Children in sibling groups – Older children – Children with complex health needs, and – Children from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds.Cllr Hannah Clare, chair of BHCC’s Children, Young People and Skills Committee, said: “We want people.
