Emily Ratajkowski says she ‘doesn’t really believe in straight people’
Model, actress and activist Emily Ratajkowski has shared her thoughts on sexuality being “on a sliding scale” after appearing to come out on TikTok.
On 10 October, the We Are Your Friends star took to the platform and stitched a video from a user who posed a question to their bisexual followers: “If you identify as bisexual do you own a green velvet couch?” The video then cut to Ratajkowski, who smiled coyly at the camera before slowly panning to her large velvet green couch.
The model’s post also included Shay Mitchell’s video from 5 October – which featured her stitching the same video to confirm her bisexuality.
In her cover story for Harper’s Bazaar, she revealed that a friend encouraged her to take part in the trend. “My girl friend came over and was like, ‘b*tch, have you seen the green couch thing?’ She was laughing at me because my green couch is so big,” she explained.
