Police in Scotland are investigating the unexplained death of a man at a gay spa over the weekend. The unidentified 51-year-old man died late Saturday afternoon at the Pipeworks Men’s Health Spa on Metropole Lane in Glasgow.
While the death is unexplained, authorities indicated they do not suspect foul play was involved and are instead trying to determine an official cause of death.“We received a report of a sudden death of a 51-year-old man at a premises on Metropole Lane, Glasgow around 7.55 p.m.
on Saturday, 26 November, 2022,” a spokesperson for the Police Scotland said in a statement. “The death is being treated as unexplained but is not being treated as suspicious.Pipeworks closed for the night following the death but reopened the following morning.
A post to social media advised patrons of the incident.“We had a serious incident this evening (Saturday) and have been closed since 8pm but will be back open Sunday 10am,” Pipeworks posted to its Twitter account.
