Ezra Miller has announced, following a string of troubling and violent incidents, that they have committed to getting treatment for mental health issues.
The Flash star released a statement through their rep addressing their behavior, which has led to legal trouble along with allegations of assault and abuse. “Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment,” Miller said in the statement. “I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior.
I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe, and productive stage in my life.” This comes on the heels of having been charged with felony burglary in Vermont, following an incident during which police said the actor absconded with several bottles of alcohol from a home where the homeowners were not present.
This is just the latest in what appears to be a pattern of destructive and criminal behavior by Miller. The actor was arrested twice in Hawaii in March of this year, first for allegedly harassing fellow bar patrons, then for threatening the couple he was staying with.
