Gemma Clare Collins (born 31 January 1981) is an English media personality and businesswoman. In 2011, she began appearing on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex. Following a brief appearance on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (2014), Collins has appeared in various television programmes including Celebrity Big Brother (2016), Celebs Go Dating (2018), and Dancing on Ice (2019). In 2019, she began starring in her own reality series and hosting a podcast on BBC Sounds.
Gemma Collins is set to open up about her self-harming past in the upcoming documentary, 'Gemma Collins: Self Harm & Me'.
The upcoming Channel 4 film sees the 40-year-old reality star - who shot to fame on 'The Only Way is Essex' in 2011 - team up with mental health charity Mind to highlight the worrying rise in cases of self-harm in the past decade.
As well as speaking to young people about their own experiences, Gemma - who is also known as The GC - will open up about her own self-harming for the first time in a bid to help others.
An insider told The Sun: “Gemma and Channel 4 have worked closely together with Mind to make this new film that will come out later this year.
