Harry Potter Author JK Rowling has received a backlash for her latest Strike novel which features a cisgender man who wears dresses and kills women, according to an early write-up.
Her latest novel Troubled Blood, written under her pseudonym Robert Galbraith, is the latest installment in her Cormoran Strike detective series.
A review of the novel in The Telegraph by Jake Kerridge has gone viral as it describes the plot and themes of the controversial book.
It reads: “The meat of the book is the investigation into a cold case: the disappearance of GP Margot Bamborough in 1974, thought to have been a victim of Dennis Creed, a transvestite serial killer.
