Georgia far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene defended lying gay incoming congressman George Santos in a series of tweets on Tuesday.Santos has admitted to lying about his work and education history as well as owning properties.
He told the New York Post this week that he'd never worked for Goldman Sachs or CitiGroup and that he also never attended Baruch College in New York – or any college or university for that matter.He’s also been caught lying about losing four employees in the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Fla.
Santos also now says that while he said he was Jewish he actually meant more “Jew-ish.” The lawmaker-elect also came clean about his marriage to a woman that he had previously not disclosed while campaigning.
The Daily Beast reported last week that he was married to the woman until 2017.“I dated women in the past. I married a woman.
