The queens competing on the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under have been unveiled. Premiering 30 July, the new season will introduce 10 more sickening drag entertainers from Australia and New Zealand who will be competing in a variety of challenges, runways and lip-sync showdowns for the title of ‘Down Under’s Next Drag Superstar’.
In a statement, RuPaul said he’s “thrilled to produce and host” a new season of the series, and that he’s “only just begun” to spotlight the charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent of the drag community in Australasia.
The guest stars are yet to be confirmed, but Michelle Visage and Rhys Nicholson will once again join RuPaul on the judging panel.
Season one premiered last year and saw Kita Mean conquer over competitors such as Art Simone, Karen from Finance and Scarlet Adams, winning a one-year supply of Revolution Beauty Cosmetics and a cash prize of $30,000.
