Miley Cyrus has released the video for her comeback single Flowers. The first single from her upcoming eighth studio album Endless Summer Vacation, the Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson-produced self-empowerment anthem sees the star declare, “I can buy myself flowers, write my name in the sand,” and “I can love me better than you can.” Directed by Jacob Bixenman, with Stephen Galloway serving as creative movement director, the fashion forward video for Flowers follows Miley as she practices various acts of self-care such as dancing, workout out and swimming.
Miley’s new album will be the star at her “strongest and most confident she’s ever been,” according to the press release, “with the music and imagery of Endless Summer Vacation serving as a reflection of the strength she’s found in focusing on both her physical and mental well-being.” Recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Kid Harpoon, Greg Kurstin, Mike WiLL Made-It and Tyler Johnson, the album is described as Miley’s “love letter to LA”.
Endless Summer Vacation is due for release on 10 March adn marks Miley’s first album since 2020’s Plastic Hearts, which received critical acclaim and spawned singles such as Midnight Sky and the Dua Lipa-assisted Prisoner.
