North Oak Cliff is a second gayborhood with about the same number of LGBTQ-owned stores and restaurants in and around Bishop Arts as along Oak Lawn’s Cedar Springs Road.
So it’s only fair for Oak Cliff to have its own Pride. On Saturday, June 25, the 500 block of Seventh Street will be closed off from 4-10 p.m.
for Orgullo Oak Cliff Pride & Market. A vendor market with local and small businesses specializing in unique merchandise, food, drinks, interactive activities and more will line the street.
Entertainment includes drag performances, storytelling, Millennial Lotería with special guest Mike Alfaro (also known as Mexican Bingo) and music by DJ’s Alaska + Eternos.
