Barack Hussein Obama II (born August 4, 1961) is an American politician and attorney who served as the 44th president of the United States from 2009 to 2017. President Barack Obama has slammed Republican politicians still attempting to use marriage equality as a wedge issue.MetroWeekly reports that Obama made the remarks at a Virginia rally for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe on Saturday at an event at Virginia Commonwealth University.
