Stunning rainbow brightens up grey skies ahead of Pride weekend in Manchester

here Manchester Pride had been due to go ahead this weekend but was cancelled earlier in the year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Manchester Pride organisers have put together a programme of virtual events to encourage people to celebrate at home instead.On Saturday, viewers can tune in to performances from Pixie Lott, Louise Redknapp, Bright Light Bright Light, Gok Wan and Jodie Harsh, along with Kelli-Leigh, Manchester Queens, House Gospel Choir, Karen Harding, Husk and many more.Festival fans can also relive highlights from years gone by, with screenings of sets by Years & Years, Rita Ora and Mel C.

You can watch from 1pm here, or at unitedwestream.co.uk. A pre-recorded virtual parade will also be screened on the Manchester Pride.
