The body of Eldoret-based Chiloba was found stashed in a metallic box in Kapsaret, Uasin Gishu, along the Kipenyo-Kaptinga road.

According to reports, a plateless vehicle was seen dropping the metal box in the area. Bodaboda riders later alerted the authorities, who soon discovered Chiloba’s decomposing body in the same clothes he had worn on 31 December 2022.

Chiloba’s body was taken to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, where a post-mortem awaits to establish the cause of death.
