Their most popular song was “Fade To Grey,” the second single from their debut album Visage, releasedby Polydor Records in November 1980.Written by band members Billy Currie, Midge Ure, and Chris Payne and performed by Strange, the lyrics are in both English and French and tell of a lonely wanderer standing in the rain on a deserted train platform contemplating whether to take his own life.“Feel the rain like an English summer/Hear the notes from a distant song/Stepping out from a back shop poster/Wishing life wouldn’t be so long.”The song’s dark story is juxtaposed by a pulsing beat and swelling baseline, which give it a catchy, danceable vibe.An accompanying music video was directed by Godley & Creme and released in 1981.

buck-wild for “Buddie,” the portmanteau of Evan “Buck” Buckley (Oliver Stark) and his platonic best friend, Edmundo “Eddie” Diaz (Ryan Guzman), on ABC’s juicy first-responder drama 9-1-1. While both characters have previously been considered straight, the latest season of the show has seen Buck come to terms with his bisexuality, leading to renewed hope for an eventual “Buddie” love story.While procedurals tend to skew a little more conservative—or at least designed to appeal to as wide an audience as possible—many series have made significant strides in LGBTQ+ representation.

Austin’s KUTX described Caleb de Casper as the “ultra glam femme boy fatale.” In late April, the darkwave disco singer kicked off an abbreviated tour of Texas from his base in Austin. The tour is anchored by his appearance this Saturday at the annual Thin Line Fest in Denton. De Casper will perform at Rubber Gloves with Dallas glitter punk band Boof and surprise special guests.
