Andrew Mark Cuomo (born December 6, 1957) is an American politician, author, and lawyer serving since 2011 as the 56th governor of New York. A member of the Democratic Party, he was elected to the same position his father, Mario Cuomo, held for three terms.
The internet erupted in laughter and ridicule after the Supreme court on Monday declined to block the Manhattan district attorney from obtaining Donald Trump’s financial records.
The mockery continued after Trump released an unhinged statement following the ruling, blasting the probe as politically motivated and pledging to “fight on.” “The Supreme Court never should have let this ‘fishing expedition’ happen, but they did,” Trump said in an unhinged statement Monday. “This is something which has never happened to a President before, it is all Democrat-inspired in a totally Democrat location, New York City and State, completely controlled and dominated by a heavily reported enemy of mine, Governor Andrew Cuomo,” the statement read.
