The video, captured by the Manchester Evening News last night, showed the queue snaking around buildings near the festival's box office at the Major Street Car Park late into the evening.
Some ticketholders reported spending more than an hour and a half in the queues to pick up their wristbands, with the box office turning people away at 1am, despite being open until 3am this morning.
