Brilliant Brighton, an organisation of 517 businesses within the city’s Business Improvement District who collectively contribute the £75,000 required each year to light up the city centre during the festive period, has announced their Christmas lights will be switched on on Monday, November 16.While the majority of the city centre’s shops, salons, cafes and restaurants’ doors are currently closed as part of the second lockdown, businesses hope that the Christmas lights (which are each fitted with eco-friendly bulbs) will brighten up those trips into the city centre for essentials, plus click and collect and takeaway orders, offered by many businesses at this time.View Brilliant Brighton businesses currently open hereTo see Brilliant.
