Eddie Izzard has spoken about knowing she was transgender from before the age of six. The comedian, 58, previously identified as a transvestite but now recognises that she is gender-fluid and is currently in 'girl mode' as a trans woman.
Speaking with Simon Thomas on the Life, Interrupted podcast, the comedian discussed how she witnessed a boy bullied for wearing girl clothes after Eddie and her family moved from Yemen to Bangor.
